Tsuruya Yoshinobu is one of the most famous confectionary shops in Kyoto, with a history of more than two hundred years! At their main location you can purchase wagashi as a souvenir, or enjoy it with some matcha and a view of their garden on the second floor in their Japanese teahouse. If you're curious about how wagashi is made, for an extra fee you can watch a demonstration by a wagashi craftsman!
Address: 〒602-8434 Kyoto, Kamigyo Ward, Nishifunahashicho, 340-1 1階

These are some of the wagashi displayed around the shop that they have for sale as souvenirs.

These large wagashi that were on display were actually real!
