Officialy endorsed by Studio Ghibli, Shirohige's Totoro Cream Puff Factory serves delicately-made cream puffs in the shape of Totoro, with various accessories such as hats, leaves, and cherry blossoms. The different accessories indicate the different flavor of cream inside which include custard, chocolate, and mango.
The cafe upstairs serves coffee, tea, pasta and other typical cafe fare, but the bakery on the first floor is takeout only.
Since it's very popular, they ask for visitors to call in advance and make a reservation to pick up the cream puffs. If you just show up without ordering in advance, they might not have any left so we really advise that you call.
