
An annual festival held on January 7th where daikon is given as an offering to the god Shōden. Visitors come to pray at the shrine and eat furofuki, which is a thick-cut daikon radish cooked in a dashi broth with seasoned miso sauce. They also hand out raw daikon for you to take home and cook for yourself.
