This stunning shrine is home to both a popular wisteria festival and plum blossom festival. It is also one of "The 10 Jinja of Tokyo/Tokyo Jissha" which refers to ten shrines in the Tokyo metropolitan area that were chosen by Emperor Meiji to bolster growth of the capital city. Visitors who make the pilgrimage to all 10 shrines bring their "goshuincho", which is a booklet to collect official stamps called "goshuin" which are hand-written by the monks of the temples.

This is the "Goshuin" (shrine stamp) and "Goshuincho" (shrine stamp booklet). Some shrines will draw it directly into your booklet and some will sell pre-made papers for you to glue or tape it in yourself. They also have booklets for sale. Goshuin costs 500 JPY.
There are a variety of shades of pink amongst the 300 trees planted on the grounds of the shrine.
