One of the most unique shrines in Japan is the Namba Yasaka Shrine. It features a giant stone shishi den (lion hall) head which spans over 12 meters high and 11 wide. It is said that the shishi's mouth swallows evil spirits, and is a destination for worshippers who want to pray for job opportunities, and academic success.

You can get a goshuin (shrine stamp) here with the shishi head. (Pictured on the left page). The goshuin area is to the right of the shishi head.
