One of the best spots to see early blooming cherry blossoms is at Sakura Jingu Shrine in Setagaya, Tokyo! The grounds of the shrine are small but there are big beautiful cherry blossom trees on either side of the shrine decorated with wishes written on pink ribbons!
It gets pretty busy here so it's best to come early and right when it opens. It's also very lovely to see when it gets dark as they are illuminated with lights.
