Cherry Blossoms in Kamakura Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine and Kamakura Daibutsu

Kamakura has been a popular destination for tourists for quite some time as it's an easy day trip from Tokyo and has a lot to offer. During cherry blossom season, there are two main areas to see cherry blossoms which we will show below.









  1. Wakamiyaoji Street leading to the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine

2. Kamakura Daibutsu

A bronze statue of Amida Buddha on the grounds of Kotokuin Temple. There are a few cherry blossom trees in front of the statue and one small one on the right side behind it.

Where: 4 Chome-2-28 Hase, Kamakura, Kanagawa 248-0016

When: Usually late-March to Early-April
